PokeSurvivor Arceus

Understand the minute-30 Judgment of Arceus: invincible chase, attack patterns, legendary waves, achievements and survival limits.

The event was added on 13 October 2026. Details come from the official news, judgment code and achievements checked 22 October 2026.

At minute 30, Arceus descends and the run becomes the Judgment of Arceus in the Ruins of Judgment. Arceus is invincible and cannot be targeted; touching it removes 40% of your HP. It uses telegraphed light pillars, cross beams and novas. Every 5 seconds a random legendary joins with double the HP and damage of the previous one. There is no time limit, and after five minutes Arceus accelerates without a cap.

When the event starts

The normal run ends at 30:00. Arceus descends in a light pillar and the screen transitions to the Ruins of Judgment, a large ruined arena. The first time, the full animation plays; later runs can skip it. In co-op, only the host can skip.

If you are inside a rift or choosing a level-up card at 30:00, the event starts when that state ends. The 28:00 rift cutoff prevents a new portal from opening in the final two minutes, but an existing arena can still finish into the event.

Why Arceus cannot be killed

Arceus is not a normal enemy. It has no damageable health bar and your attacks do not target it. Touching it removes 40% of your HP and triggers the Judgment. The event is a survival phase, not a boss kill.

The goal is to last as long as possible while the legendary waves escalate. There is no “defeat Arceus” objective in the current event. The related achievement asks you to survive, not to kill the creator.

Attack patterns

PatternWhat it looks likeHow to respond
Light pillarsGround zones that fill before a pillar strikes.Step out of the zone before it fills; do not wait for the pillar.
Cross beamsLines crossing the arena with a warning.Move perpendicular to the line, not along it.
NovaA radial burst from Arceus.Create distance or use the gap between beams.
TouchArceus’s body contact.Never cross the sprite; it removes 40% HP and can set up a lethal follow-up.

The attacks ignore type and defense. A defensive build can survive more hits, but it cannot tank the pattern indefinitely. Movement and spacing are the real defense.

Legendary waves

Every five seconds, a random legendary joins the arena. Each one has double the HP and damage of the previous legendary. The first is scaled to your pre-Judgment single-target damage so it does not die instantly; after that, the curve compounds. The eighth legendary is already 128 times stronger than the first.

Legendaries in the Judgment give experience but no coins, tickets or items. Do not treat them as a farming window. The event ends when you die; there is no extraction or return to the map.

How to survive longer

  • Keep moving around the outer edge. The center fills with overlapping pillars and novas.
  • Do not chase the legendaries. They are a damage check, but Arceus’s touch is the bigger threat.
  • Save a defensive item for the event. Focus Sash, Assault Vest or Leftovers can extend the first minute.
  • Use a ranged main move. Melee attacks force you toward Arceus and the legendary pile.
  • Accept the end. The event has no time limit; the escalating waves are designed to end the run. Surviving one minute is an achievement, not a permanent clear.

The build guide explains the single-target and defensive templates. The item guide lists the survival options.

Achievements and leaderboard

Before the CreatorSurvive 1 minute against Arceus.Chosen of Arceus
Divine challengeDefeat 3 legendaries against Arceus in a single run.—

The 13 October update added these three achievements. That is why older pages say 127 achievements and the current page says 130. The achievement guide explains the count.

Reaching the Judgment resets the all-time leaderboard because the run now has a definite end. The current leaderboard periods are daily, weekly, monthly and all-time; the yearly board was removed on 10 October. The leaderboard guide covers categories and eligibility.

Limits and common confusions

  • Arceus is not a rift legendary. It is a separate minute-30 event. The 87 rift legendaries are in the 18 type arenas.
  • Arceus is not a gacha boss. The playable Arceus is a 5★ Pokédex entry; the event Arceus is invincible.
  • The event is not endless in the old sense. The run has a definite end, but the survival phase has no timer.
  • The touch damage is not a normal attack. It ignores type and defense and removes a percentage of HP.

Older guides that describe a 30-minute run as the end of the game, with no Arceus event, predate 13 October. The troubleshooting guide covers the case where an old copy does not show the event.
